Those mini paint rollers are already out. I bought one last week. I only had it 20 minutes :cussing:

I'm a big fan of Lidl stuff.
I have to wonder though how many people will actually need 80 croc clips.

The parkside tracksaw is reviewed today by Peter Millard so if anyone is planning on getting one you better get there quick on Thursday

He mentions extra track is available from Lidl and that evolution do additional track

I watched that last night. I'm in the market for one but undecided which one to get.

The Parkside review put me off as you only get two tracks at 700mm and can't cut a full sheet unless you buy another two.

But you can buy another two for less than £20 quid delivered. Unheard of for other tracksaws.
You can buy a whole second lidl tracksaw for the price of a big brand single track.

If that is your only concern, don't worry - get the track saw and buy extra rails from Lidls supplier (there's a thread in this forum on how to do that).

PS - I bought my rails last year, so if you want to double check, you can call the supplier first to ensure they have extra rails.

I run my Parkside saw on a festool track mostly, works great. When I bought my track though you couldn't get cheap generic track like Evolution are selling now otherwise that would have been my choice to save a bit of money.
The 700mm tracks are handy for smaller jobs though.

I like that the evolution had two connector bars. One feels flimsy to me.... I'm always worried it will show during a cut.

Does the parkside saw only provide one?

I took the plunge (get it) and bought one a few minutes ago. Do you reckon I'm best buying the evolution 2.8m track or two additional 700mm ones from Parkside? The Parkside ones will be cheaper but I'm concerned at sammys comment about only having one connector.

By the way FFX has a 5% off code which brings the evolution track saw down to £65.55. Code if FFX697

By the way where's the post about contacting Lidl for additional stuff?

Yes, only one - which to be fair is the same as festool. It's adequate, but it's not as good as two bars.

Why is that pal? Are the Parkside tracks no good or is it because there'd be too many joins with 4?
