How do I get rid of this limestone tile stain?

Hi,

Please see attached image. How do I get these faded ring marks off a limestone tile? Whilst slate oil sorts the rest of the tile, these marks remain. Is there a product I can use?

No picture attached so might be worth a call to their helpline to make sure that it is the best product for the job.

Oh dear. Looks like water penetration from underneath the tile... I hope I'm wrong, I will stand by what I said earlier, give Lithofin a ring see what they say.

If (worst case scenario) there is a small leak/weep under the tile then the tile needs to come up, leak fixing and tile replacing.

Thanks for your help.how would water have gotten in from underneath? Too much water when mopping the tiles? It's carpet underneath and not near any other water source. Could it also be acid staining from using cillit bang (before I was told the tiles were actually limestone!)

I sincerely hope that is a typo of some sort...

Just looking at the pic I've seen similar issues where a minor weep in the floor has caused similar staining, Limestone by its nature is porous so will absorb water from any direction. It could equally be caused by over-enthusiastic scrubbing,

I suppose the question is why did you need to clean it with cillit bang in the first place ?

Sorry the carpet is finished at the edge of the tiles .

When the guys installed the stove they were in a rush to get away and neglected to tell me what the tiles made of (I didn't ask either to be fair) and I assumed they were basic ceramic ones and nothing natural like limestone. Has I been told I would have cared for them in the appropriate way.

Anyway after the grout got all over them I tried cillit bang and then hg grout remover (which I now read shouldn't be used with calcareous natural tiles) so it's likely that that's done the damage.

I think I have two options now - find a product to restore or remove the colour or just ask the trader to come back and replace the tile... Looking like maybe the latter. I paid £2000 for the stove renovation and as a perfectionist it now needs sorting
