Kids wooping ass at bowling
Post by Handy Angie »
Dont you just hate been wooped at bowling by kids. Ive got an excuse....the bowls are too heavy for me and they hurt my nails. What excuse does my man have (who predited he was THE best ever at bowls)...the bowls were not heavy enough and Id (yes you read that correctly I'D) tied his shoe laces too tight! And £29 for 4 people 2 games is just another example of rip off Britain. Or it could have been the childs designer trainers that gave him the edge ha ha.

I really can't believe that Preston does not have any 14lb Bowls with extra large finger holes
Yes chavvy won, but much of it was luck as a few of his shots bounced off the rails that we had to keep up for you!
I never even got one strike and got the lowest score of all time
10lb bowls are just no good for me.
You know that the majority of the balls that I bowled were right down the centre and would of been strikes, if I had not been playing with kiddies bowls.
Next time we will go to a proper bowling alley, where we will not have the rails up and let's see who wins when they have some bowls suitable for adults.

Nah, I'll try that next time lolHitch wrote:Same problem Chez, did you try the 10lbs overarm?
I have not played for about two years, if you have the same problem down there I wonder if they have removed the 14lb bowls from use?

a 10lb bowl would still break your toes.Handy Angie wrote:They broke too many toes! Removed. Gone forever. Get over it man!!
The maximum permissable weight for one person to lift at work is 25kg, so can't imagine it would be anything to do with that. I lift 25kg's regularly with 1 hand lol

The holes are deep so its not a problem at all - unless Ive got C curve tips on. Thats long false nails that hook over for those not in the know!

"C" curves = Clingon scrapers.

People forget how fast you did a job - but they remember how well you did it.
