Our rental property has under counter lighting in the kitchen Despite new bulbs, 2 of the 5 lights don't work. Any suggestions for likely cause of fault? Landlord unlikely to fix (he's a tight-fisted whatsit!). I've added pic to show the type.
1 - not working
2 - working
3 - working
4 - working
5 - not working
I haven't yet looked at the way they're daisy chained, but 1 & 2 are linked, and 4&5 are linked.

You have posted only 1 picture, of 1 light fitting.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Care to guess what the lamp is? I am 90% sure what it is.someone-else wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:47 pm You have posted only 1 picture, of 1 light fitting.

Well i worked out that the lamp holder involves a square plastic cap placed over each end of the bulb. These then spring and clip into the main holder. If the lamp doesn't light, often it's just a case of rotating them until the connection is made. Very weird!Someone-Else wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2019 4:47 pm You have posted only 1 picture, of 1 light fitting.
