Ha. I was just trying it and I eventually read the fine print (not that fine really) on the email. It applies on spend between £50-100, and I what I wanted is not as much, :-(

FFS. I don't like you anymore :boxing:

You are correct! ::b Minimum spend £50, maximum discount £100, limit 2 purchases per customer. Still, I am too tight to spend £50 as I can't think of anything I need.

Battery powered circular saw? You could cut sheets of ply/mdf at the suppliers and stick them in the car?

[Been there done that, it is still in the box and for all I know it does not work].

I would also check their Ebay page before buying. A lot of the time it's cheaper than their own site.

Strange that. I often found stuff on their ebay page, and then cheaper direct from their shop. Usually though I am after hand tools that do not cost that much and there are no special offers for them as for powertools.

i have always found most cheaper direct from ffx butttt
i dont do social media or advertizing from any source so suspect like any company they will have a campaign
where they may sell say specific makita below others prices or indeed drop most prices for a campaign and say something like "cheapest on ebay "
to give the impression off best value then creep prices up

Maybe I'm getting that back to front then

But I bought a Makita track saw from their Ebay site last month for £200. I'm pretty sure it was a bit more on their website. That could just have been a one off.

It was £206 from FFX Ebay and £256 from FFX direct.

It must have been a one off.

I think we discussed it at the time (or I followed up your point). Ebay had a promotion with some good discounting probably funded by the sellers. Usually, FFX is cheaper direct with free delivery, basically their cheaper prices are probably the difference of what they would have paid to Ebay. Anyway I like the company and if the price is right I would rather cut out the middleman.
