New Contemporary Garden
One of the reasons we used composite decking was it’s resistance to cracking and warping , seen lots of timber decks with these issues as well as green slippery growth during wet periods.
Our deck has produced some green growth that was slightly slippery. A bucket of hot water with old fashioned washing powder and a short bristle stiff broom sorted it in ten minutes. Used soap powder as always used this on the teak deck of a yacht I sail on.
Our deck is south facing , it was noticeable that even to the north side of some pots and a small table with a flat base these areas had considerable growth of green goo
