I'm about to change a single lightswitch.
Our current switch is wired up as shown below. There are two browns going to L and one brown going into L1.
The new switch:
I'm assuming it's a case of:
- the 2 wires currently in L being wired to COM
- the single wire currently going to L1 being wired to 1 way
First question. Does this look right?
There is a separate connection on the back of the new light switch plate for the earth as it's metal.
Last question. Does the existing earth in the back box look ok?
Thanks!

Fitting a new light switch
where does the earth from the bqckbox goto ?
you have the 3 off twin&Earth T&E cable earths all going to a chocbox, is that correct ALL 3 as only see 2 wires poking out
so they are ll joined, if thats correct
BUT I cant see the actual earth from those T&E cables connected to the backbox

The earth from the back box goes to the metal light switch...
Which is what caught my eye.

Fitting a new light switch
You need an additional earth from the choc box connector to the back box.
