Removing decking stain from lead flashing
Can anyone advise if there’s a way to remove decking stain from lead flashing? I’ve tried white spirit but didn’t budge an inch.

Use a mild acid solution – vinegar or lemon juice. This will work if the stains are not too severe. Apply it using a nylon brush or very fine wire wool.

Removing decking stain from lead flashing
i would be wondering why the sealant has slumped and split
has the flashing been moved and no longer secure and doing its job properly??
needs raking out and investigating rather than just filling the gaps to prevent water ingress
