I want to put a Wi-Fi camera inside my metal shed for security purposes. The problem is my existing Wi-Fi won't reach to my shed. I have a one Wi-Fi extender. If I bought another one is it just a case of attaching one to my router via ethernet cable and another one in the shed?

I think so, what do the instructions say?
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

SE the instructions are a bit vague but I've done a bit more research and from what I can gather I'm better off with a passthrough powerline type. I'll have more of a read tomorrow. off to bed now.

I've decided to run cat5e external cable along the catenary cable where my 6mm SWA is and hardwire the camera in the shed.
