Walnut bowl
Had a piece of walnut laying around , so turned a little bowl. Tried to get a more contemporary look rather than what seems to be the norm for wood turned bowls , it’s only small but I think it worked , loverly grain and colour , treated with Tung oil as the tin was to hand . It’s around 110mm high

Beautiful figure, the grain really pops out in the turning. I do not usually like wood bowls but that looks really nice, it has a modern contemporary style. Well done.

It didn’t split or crack lol
at Soham Mens Shed we acquired a Dominion 6” lathe only weighs 360kg , today we finally got it sorted , replacement single phase motor, rewire , new stop switches ect
