I am planning to purchase some tiles for my bathroom (same tile for both walls and floor). It's a glazed porcelain tile that is 60cm x 30cm. It's about 10mm thick and each tile weighs 4kg. The tile trim edging will be 12.5mm.
Given this tile, does anyone know how much adhesive will be required per square metre for the walls and how much for the floors?
Thanks in advance

Isn't tile adhesive sold by the coverage anyway???? You need the same coverage in adhesive as you have tiles.
Don't take it personally......

How much tile adhesive do I need?
My builder has asked me to purchase adhesive and grout for the area I want to tile (using the previously mentioned tiles). It seems like a lot so I wanted to double. Searching online seems to show around 4 to 5kg of adhesive for square metre but I'm not sure if this varies depending on the weight and thickness of the tile. If someone can give me some guidance based on the above tiles then I can be more sure over the amount the builder is requesting that I get.

5kg sounds about right but from my experience I needed more but I had 50% hardiebacker and 50% rough gouged blocks needed to level, so I had to butter both tile and wall in places. Has the builder stipulated flexible! And depends as above, on the substrate and if your floor is perfect not so much needed there, also what size of grout lines, a 5kg grout bag goes a long way approx 1kg/1mtr in my estimate.
