yes indeed but can be soul destroying if you make such a perfect table and expect it to be treated in an adult way and his actions though off an un caring child when loving the desk in use rather than iff you try to treat them as young adults rather than very creating little people with imaginations that need to go wild :huray:

Lego table !

Well done Chippo, really nice. My boy (6) is into lego and wants me to build one! Might have a go over the xmas period but opting for pine for simplicity.

Couple of suggestion for later on (having watched my son play lego over the last few years) are:

-make some deep pull-out boxes for the drawers which you grandson can dump lego into and if he wants take it else where in the house (I write this while there is a scattering of lego on the living room floor). It also make tidy up easier.

-also, make some shallow divider boxes so he can organise parts as he gets older.

Nice job

I can well remember the crunchy carpets from when my nipper was young.
One day it will all be firewood.

Ayjay , I did my wrist in once , serious dislocation and nerve damage , part of the physio after operation was to wiggle my hand around in a big bucket of Lego to desensitise various bits of hand and wrist
