At this time of the year, it is too cold to work outside much and we cannot go out so much so TV has been a diversion. We only watch after 6pm and we have been selective in what we watch to entertain us in the evenings. I have watched some brilliant series on the streaming services that I thought I would flag up to those of you who have Prime and Netflix. I found a series called Damages which has Glen Close as the star, on Prime. We started out on the first episode and were instantly hooked, the stories are complex with lots of double-dealing and red herrings. We have now watched all five seasons and each season is a complete story that comes all out at the end. We have watched it an episode a night for the last couple of months and it is so superior to any of the sh*t they show on public broadcasting.
We are currently watching Spotless on Netflix which is a very good story revolving around a crime scene clean-up operator. It is a good story that shocks.
Other good series to catch are Queen of the South, Godless, and Hell on Wheels.

I just binged watch the last season of Vikings on Prime. It was brilliant but sad it's over now.
Queens Gambit is very good on Netflix as is Bridgerton which I surprisingly enjoyed.

I enjoyed Queens Gambit, very unusual but compulsive viewing. I could not get Mrs D on to Vikings, I must persist. I did not fancy Bridgerton, the trailer put me off. I am working through Breaking Bad again on my laptop, a brilliant series as well as the spin-off Better Call Saul. The two Jack Ryan series on Prime as well as Treadstone are good viewing.

Warrior and Yellowstone are really good.
I wonder what we'll all do next year when we realise very little TV was made in 2020 due to Covid? Maybe I'll venture outside

Ivar The Boneless annoyed me but I thought Alexander Ludwig was excellent playing Bjorn Ironside so that made up for it.

If you like "Vikings" then "The Last Kingdom" is worth a look on Netflix.
Enjoyed "Outlander" on Prime as well.
Can't generally stand period costume dramas though, they remind me of "Lords and Ladies" in one of the "Max Payne" games

I will check Kominsky out. Bosch was excellent, I enjoyed every one of the series. The characters were good and the scripts well devised.

glad you enjoyed, 2 series and imo doesn't go downhill, stays at same level all the way through - they had planned a series 3 for 2020, but not sure if that will happen now at all
