Nothing too special just my first time working with it. I put the bottom hinge in the wrong place should be 2" higher but it's not the end of the world, stopped tennons any way.
Got a deadlock on bottom and sashlock on top now.
Also for multi point locks why can't you get a souber plunging cutter at 16mm, only the faceplate one.

Is that the acetylation treated wood? The treatment is supposed to reduce the wood's natural hygroscopic tendency making it far more stable in potential moist conditions. I have never worked with it but it looks nice to work.

I've got a 3 - 4 year old accoya french door, seems to be good stuff but Zinsser Allcoat Exterior is not doing well on the outside sill & the inside sill is wearing under foot traffic. Doors themselves are pretty good, apart from one split at top of a stile.
This suggests to me, better stained than glossed.

Yes its the stuff where they use it's natural vinegar and inject into timber. Apparently it's radiata pine so minimal defects like knots.
It is supppsed to be extremley durable but yes can be very brittle. If you drop a piece it could split and break. I thought that yesterday it's ok saying the wood won't rot but it still doesn't mean the finish won't need maintenance. Paint is not going to stay looking good particularly nowadays.
