Ceiling rose.

Post by westies2803 »

Hi, I would like to add 2 spotlights to my bedroom light switch. The ceiling rose has 2 twin & earth coming in, where do I add the additional twin & earth to allow me to connect the spot lights?? There is currently 1 hanging lamp & 1 switch. What I'm trying to connect is 2 spotlight behind sliding wardrobe doors, to work off the same switch.Cheers

Connect it to the twin and earth.

I did the above on purpose, the reply is just as vague as your question is, in order to really help we need pictures (in focus)

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Hi Someone-Else.
Cheers for your reply.

I have run twin& earth from the spot lights to the ceiling rose. I can see 2 cables coming in connecting to flex on L, loop in the middle & flex on the right. I have attempted to attach a picture. Cheers

Thats better.

You need to connect the blue to the blue* and the brown to the brown* (*The same place the flex is connected to) I see you have already connected the earth, which should have green/yellow sleeving
