Evening everyone,
I recently asked for advice on which track saw to purchase, I eventually went with the Mafell MT55CC, what I want to know is, what is the best way to cut the rubber splinter guard? After reading up some people say have the blade depth fully down, some say have it around 3mm below the rubber strip, some say go forward with the saw, others say backwards etc. What are people’s opinions?
All help greatly appreciated.
Cheers

just plunge on top off a well-supported sheet off material
avoid a heavy deep cut as your first cut to avoid any deflection causing an arc on the rubber edging because iff your rubber edge is not 100% level and strait you will get an inaccuracy dependant on where on the rubber you line up with the marks
