Now I dare say others moan about these but Anglian water has recently got right up my nose , blowing nose won’t cure it !
Some where recently I read that some where in the region of 57billion has been paid out to share holders of water companies in recent years and wow they intend on spending 2.7 billion over the next few years on the crumbling infrastructure , aren’t we lucky to be helping out all those share holders, mainly based in Europe !
Now correct me if I am wrong , but I can’t take my business elsewhere I am stuck with the company that supplies the water where I live, So why the hell are Anglian water wasting god knows how much on TV adverts telling how great they are ! When they could spend that on upgrades or repairs . I DONT HAVE A FLAMMING CHOICE ANGLIAN , I AM STUCK WITH YOU !
Just a little rant !
Off to send them an email

In letters (bills) mine quite often thank me for being a customer. Seems rather odd given I don't have an option.

They also have a policy to limit spending on infrastructure so that the existing supplies get to be spread around an ever-increasing customer base with the inevitable shortages and thus price increase thereby share price increase to shareholders. It's a closed circle designed to create wealth at your expense.
Don't take it personally......
