Dewalt de7023 universal mitre saw stand
get some tubing the same diameter as your original leg stands. and some u bolts and adapt it so that ya can attach it that way.
dewalt probably exclude old elu designed saws from their claim.

Dewalt de7023 universal mitre saw stand

What's the build date on your saw? The Elu tube system dates back to about 1980, so I'd lay odds that DW have a little note that says "fits any current production DW saw". Maybe worth writing to them and pointing out this discrepancy. You never know your luckbrightspark29 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 04, 2021 7:35 pmSo much for Dewalt claim fits ANY Dewalt mitre saw, looks as though I’ve just chucked 150 notes down the drain buying the de7023.

Job and Knock I’m not sure where to find the date on the saw, I believe I bought it about 1992. I am trying to make contact with Dewalt over the issue but have discovered their customer service is diabolical from reviews I have read. However, I will persist and let you know should I have any luck. Thanks again.

Dewalt de7023 universal mitre saw stand
adapting what you have with a bit of ply maybe the best option. you have a decent mitre saw and a very good stand. its just now making it all work together. the stand you have is certainly massively more useable than the stand your mitre saw was originally designed around.
i should imagine the stand was designed sometime around the 2000 sort of era. ive had mine a long time. the machine you own is basically a rebranded elu machine. my own dw701 has a different base which does fit the stand

Thank you for your post fin. I think I will have to go down the route of mounting the saw on a piece of ply as you suggest. I was just disappointed that the saw does not fit straight onto the brackets as Dewalt make you believe in their advertising of the 7023 stand “Fits ALL Dewalt saws” they say. I am at present waiting to hear back from Dewalt having emailed them three times however, I won’t hold my breathe on that one having read the extremely poor customer reviews.

Yes but it is a 29 year old saw, so maybe understandable?brightspark29 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 11, 2021 1:26 pm I was just disappointed that the saw does not fit straight onto the brackets as Dewalt make you believe in their advertising of the 7023 stand “Fits ALL Dewalt saws” they say.
