dewalt dc725 batteries ?

i was given a dewalt dc725 drill in mint condition in case with charger, i was wondering about batteries for it, would the xr range batteries fit my drill, it came with de9098 batteries.

that drill takes the older style of batteries.

ya can get a converter apparently to use newer xr batteries on older tools. although ive not actually seen one before. all my gear is the xr stuff anyway the batteries are way better

one of those things. they are not made by dewalt like. obviously dewalt would prefer to sell new tools rather than keep old ones running
