Changing a Double 2 way light switch.

Post by Lovedayuk »

Hello all.

I'm trying to change a double 2 way light switch. One switch is for the landing which has another switch on the landing. The other switch is for the living room light which also has another light switch there as well.

I'm trying work out how the wires will go in to the new switch, any help would be appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Chris

The same way they do in the old switch.

Your new switch is two single switches side by side, the same way round.
Your old switch is two switches in the same "package" but one is upside down in relation to the other.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
