That is a full size saw that will be two handed and heavy. The beauty of the mini is that you can use it one handed, ideal for firewood. Get the £18 cheapo, she will never use anything else again. I even let Mrs D loose with mine and she loved it.

That was interesting, a lot of kit for £18. I was wondering about the battery compatibility use on other kit? My saw has a safety button, that one is quite dangerous. Mine has a sprung blade cover as well.

I just found one very similar to mine for £21. The prices fluctuate and are very much dictated by demand I suspect. Have a look on eBay for 'Cordless mini chainsaws'. My original buy way £37 on Amazon. The second one I got was £17 for the red colour, which I got, or £19 for black for some reason? They are worth it whatever price you pay if you have a job to do.
