Hi everyone. Can you please advice ? Currently we have an old ceiling rose standard light fitting in bedroomin middle of room. I want to take this away and put in two hanging modern lights at side of bed acting like bedside lights.
I know how to change the old ceiling light into a modern connection using the wago connectors but what i now want to know is if you can have two hanging lights at either side of the bed wired in using the same light switch. So basically instead of putting in one modern light , can you put two lights to one fitting?
I can't find anything online or diagrams so appreciate any advice.

Yes, you can.
Do as you said you know what to do with just one light.
When that is working, connect the second light to the same terminals the first light is connected to.
(To clarify) where you have one brown blue and gn/yel for the first light, there will now be TWO blues, Two browns, Two gn/yel
I would suggest you use the 221 wagos

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
