Rendering
Would be grateful for help/advise. Small dividing wall at the front of a terraced house needs re-rendering and struggling to get a tradesman. Have had two come out but they haven't got back as promised probably due to such a small job. Would like to attempt this myself but need advise on best way forward. I remember when the wall was originally rendered it was a grey sort of cinder block prone to damp. It's lasted a good 10 to 12 years so must have been prepared properly and rendered with the normal sand/cement mix. I know there are many new products these days and wondered if my proposed DIY idea is a good one with your help of course. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

As an alternative to render have a look at Marley Cedral cement boarding. It looks like wooden shiplap and ls very modern and attractive. It may well be cheaper than render. https://www.cedral.world/en-gb/cladding/projects/
