Alarm Systme PIRS Stuck On

But it is the LED that illuminates

Since none of us are there, how about a picture?

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

Solution:

Disconnected the zone 3 PIR and left for a few minutes before reconnected power to it. All now working.

If you had of done what I asked, when I asked it, you could have had it working days ago.

Also next time, or who ever you ask, please do as asked, don't say one thing, decide it is wrong and expect anyone trying to help you, to know what you have said is wrong.

See how confusing it is.

You missed a bit before the extracts you quote. I never mentioned a fault with the LED. It was only the PIR. That was unfortunately picked up incorrectly and I responded incorrectly not noticing the mistake.

In an effort to clarify things, as you requested, I did summarise it in some detail, hopefully correcting any confusion. Unfortunately it didn't. But thanks for your help. It was useful.

However, it is working now and to clarify, it worked by disconnecting the power wires to the PIR, leaving it for a few minutes and then reconnecting.

Once again, thanks for your help and also mudmouse.
