I did ask why not just offer me the £60 direct now to me while I'm on the phone to you , and they would not do i
i did not buy, as i was still thinking about it , did not a huge need, still dont, and to be honest if he had said, yes then I would have an impulse purchased. I guess my personality like a deal, and sometimes, thats all it takes for me to BUY , if undecided.

<span class="skimwords-potential">Ebay</span><span style="position: absolute;"></span><span style="position: absolute;"></span> have a few FFX deals at the moment 15% OFF min spend £20 MAX spend £60

Example - DeWalt DWS774
£267.95 on FFX £245,57 through <span class="skimwords-potential">ebay</span><span style="position: absolute;"></span><span style="position: absolute;"></span>, although price hicked to £288.91, and 15% off , so thats really only an 8% OFF
it says maximum discount is 60 so £400??
Just so you know it's 15% off the ex VAT price. So even less

Perhaps Scottish percentages work differently than the rest of the world, I'll keep this simple for the hard of thinking...

Let's say you have an item that is priced @ £ 100 ex vat, apply 15% discount £ 85 ... add vat (currently 20%) = £ 17 . !7 + 85 = £ 102.

£100 + vat @ 20 % = £120, apply 15 % discount of £ 18 aaaand 120 - 18 = £ 102

So exactly the same.

I was getting mixed up with the discount with Topcashback. It's 4% off the Ex VAT price.

"Standard commission 4% of basket value excluding VAT and shipping costs."

Just had a migraine so a bit foggy for a couple of days.

Did you get out of bed the wrong side this morning?

Just learned Screwfix have an offer of 10% off products over £50. Plus I have around a £30 gift card left so I'll get it today for about £730.

I knew it was worth waiting.

Five minutes too late and now OOS 😡

However, I may have a result.

Amazon is selling for £485 'used like new' so definitely worth a punt. Free returns for 30 days.
