I was looking at a Table saw a while back, and FFX pointed me to the <span class="skimwords-potential">ebay</span><span style="position: absolute;"></span><span style="position: absolute;"></span> site, even with the price RRP increase, after discount it worked out cheaper, I think by about £60 (on a £400-500 item ), I think thats was the maximum discount offered something like 15% OR £xxx whatever was the higher.
I did ask why not just offer me the £60 direct now to me while I'm on the phone to you , and they would not do i
i did not buy, as i was still thinking about it , did not a huge need, still dont, and to be honest if he had said, yes then I would have an impulse purchased. I guess my personality like a deal, and sometimes, thats all it takes for me to BUY , if undecided.

it says maximum discount is 60 so £400??

Perhaps Scottish percentages work differently than the rest of the world, I'll keep this simple for the hard of thinking...

Let's say you have an item that is priced @ £ 100 ex vat, apply 15% discount £ 85 ... add vat (currently 20%) = £ 17 . !7 + 85 = £ 102.

£100 + vat @ 20 % = £120, apply 15 % discount of £ 18 aaaand 120 - 18 = £ 102

So exactly the same.

I was getting mixed up with the discount with Topcashback. It's 4% off the Ex VAT price.
