The shaft / handle of my manual meat grinder broke and I'm struggling to source a replacement. I'm not sure how it all fixed together before it broke, whether it was riveted on the end or what. The spindle appears to be have the diameter of 8mm throughout most of its length. The end that goes through the metal crank is 7mm. Can anyone advise?

it looks to me like something screws in the end at the crank perhaps a 1/8th off an inch 3.2mm bolt
probably easiest with say 7mm threaded rod and nylock nut each end
if you cant get 7 get 8 mm put the nut on and file the thickness off the crank off the thread
