The ultimate in power tool storage...!?
We are super proud of this one... space saving and protects our tools too, plus we were able to customise it so it shows everything off nicely in our workshop.
We are always coming up with new ideas for tool storage so really appreciate any feedback you can give us or ideas / inspo for our next project!
Thanks :)

Very pretty. Very impractical.
Looks like a 'wall of foam' to me - nice if you can find a customer base that has EVERY TOOL to fit every space or want to retail them in a shop premises. Meanwhile the rest of us 'normies' will have only 1/5th (probably less) of them and use them so often a 'foam' wall would be tatters in a few weeks.
9/10 appearance, 3/10 practicality, 1/10 for the 'man in the street'.

Don't take it personally......

Kelly says it all really, that is a storage plan for someone who does nothing with them. Plus they are all cordless and most blokes have a mixture of both corded and cordless. The cables would be a bleeding mess on that.
Nice try, buy an old four drawer filing cabinet to store them, takes up less space and is more practical.

Agreed it looks like a shop display to me as well what with the lighting and logo thing in the middle. Seems strange to me at least that non of the tools have a battery fitted or is that something i've missed , batteries out when not in use. If so i'm guilty of bad practice as the battery stays on my drill in the box.
I've had this sort of discussion on a woodworking facebook group. Looks very neat and pretty but fairly obviously the tools all look the same sort of age. Most of us don't buy a huge toolkit like that in one go , we build it up. Does one live with open holes or leave it blank. Same goes for any tools, do you wait until you've got all the kit before each tool has it's own dedicated space and what to do if once you've cut all this out you go and buy something else that doesn't fit? In my own workshop i have tools on the walls. For example i have slotted comb like shelves for chisels and screwdrivers but soon found i had more tools than slots so some slots end up with two or three tools in. Other hanging places would look nice with just the one spanner but i find i end up hanging several on each space.

I see all the tw*ts on Facebook posting pictures of their pristine tools and vans. I don't think they've seen a days work in their lives. I've lost count of the number of tools I've chucked in mine just in a hurry to get home.

I like the idea, but since the English language is not mine and I use a translator I wouldn't want to be misunderstood.
I would also use this solution in my new garage but my fear is that in the event of a fire it feeds the flames, you know if there are self-extinguishing foams.
Thank you.
