Plastic moulding repair

Post by Mooncat »

Mrs M has broken the black plastic moulded sidelight housing on her nearly new wheelchair. It appears to be repairable. But what adhesive? nothing to indicate the actual material, but it feels and looks like the stuff used on cars. Hotmelt glue, or Araldite Rapid, or something else?
I started out with nothing, I still have most of it.

available on line here about £7.50 inc postage (no idea if that is good price or not - just a possible source)
I went to a bookstore and asked the saleswoman, "Where's the self-help section?"
She said if she told me, it would defeat the purpose.

Thanks for thr info, I'll see if I can get it locally, and also how much a new part will cost, but I think it's a repair job.
