Hey all,
Been on here couple of months, thought id say hey and and hopefully if time allows contribute to more posts.
How did everyone go about starting out? Im currently employed as a fitter but have set up my odd jobs / handyman services to go alongside it and hopefully becom my full time when the works there. I started my Facebook page in October and took on my first job then.
Found out I had a few jobs to start with and busy befor Christmas, as people leave it last minute, since then found it quite quiet.
I've had a few enquires and priced up, with one or two small jobs...
How did others find it, or any tips...
I know Rome wasn't built in a day.

Hey and Starting up
I found things like Parish magazines good, always local jobs and if you are good your name gets passed around.

Hey and Starting up
Just checking you have PL insurance for the types of work you will be doing and have registered with HMRC too
Good luck, starting from scratch isn’t easy and could take 2 to 3 years to get really established
