Hairline ceiling cracks in multiple rooms

Hi folks

I’ve noticed a number of hairline ceiling cracks in various rooms throughout the house - ground floor and first floor. The cracks are not wide and generally follow a straight line and are uniformly spaced. The house is 1930s semi detached so assuming the ceilings are plastered rather than drywall. Any advice on the attached appreciated.

It's not unusual in a house of that age, due to one or more causes. In a similar case with a house I owned the cause was two things:
▪︎ In WW2, a bomb had exploded within a mile of the house causing cracks that were just patched;
▪︎ Weight of furniture in upstairs rooms so heavy that the joists bowed slightly, causing cracks.
In the room where it was worst, I dropped the lath and plaster ceiling, replacing it with a plaster board and plaster skim ceiling.
Other ceilings had the cracks cut back and a flexible filler applied.

Can I ask if you have kids who have been jumping around in the bedroom above, they look like impact cracks. If you can face it pull the lathe and plaster down and put plasterboards up and skim.
