Really???
Russia to attack Ukraine on Tuesday? Maybe at 3.30pm, just after afternoon tea perhaps? Will they take tiffin with their tea?
WTF is going on? Russia says 'no war', the Ukraine leadership says 'no war' yet the USA, UK and 'others' are dancing merrily around claiming war is imminent and that they are 'doing all they can to prevent it'. Yet not a single shred of evidence to support their claims. And people are believing all this 'statesmanship' shown by Boris and Biden - presumably so when Tuesday comes and goes and there is no war they can preen themselves on the worlds stage saying they 'prevented a catastrophe'. Cnuts.
That said I wouldn't put it past the Americans to create a false flag event - they have massive prior experience and the USA needs a war given their parlous economic state and up coming mid term elections etc.
What have I missed?

War???
Never underestimate the Russians, they will do what they want if they think they can get away with it. When you have a bloke in charge with any opposition stamped out it is a more unstable situation. This is a former KGB guy who still believes he is Karla from the Smiley novels. If the World does not appear to care he will take advantage, if we posture he is less likely to try it on. It is all Russian game playing but he knows it would be an unpopular move with his own people many of whom do not like this. It is all a different place to the 1960's but even then they pushed the Cuban missile crisis but backed down.

War???
I don't really feel this will lead to a full scale shooting match unless like you say there is a false flag type of thing. There seem to be some in the west who still view Russia as some sort of communist bogey man. I don't feel that Ukraine's incorperation into NATO is a good idea though. I could see them then attempting to get back control of the Crimea provoking Russian retaliation and then invoking article 5 of the NATO charter and thus dragging us into a war.
To be fair the Cuban crisis did also see the US make concessions and withdraw missiles from places like Turkey. This crisis will probably be spun similarly in both camps. Western strength prevents war and Russian strength brings NATO to the negotiating table.

War???
The Cuban Missile Crisis point works both ways though. America, through the NATO members, has stationed 'armies' and, allegedly, nuclear missile batteries right across Europe, encompassing Russia's borders.
I fully sympathise with Russia over Ukraine. The previous pro-Russian leader was ousted in a Western coup, starting all these problems and Russia, rightly, seeks a buffer zone between themselves and NATO/US forces 'massed on their borders' - exposing the claims of Russian's 'massed on the borders' as total BS since they are, after all, on their own territory.
Many detractors of Russia point out that the Russian GDP isn't even as large as California's yet the same people seem to think Russia is a threat to peace when, in all reality, the aggression is from the West seeking Russian resources and the USA, in particular, worried over Russia pulling down the West's financial structure by encouraging trade outside the 'almighty US dollar'.
Threats to the US dollar have always brought out the big guns - Libya threatened (actually started to) using gold as a currency across Africa which is why Ghadaffi was ousted.... I can't see the US doing this - although they'll certainly try - with Russia and China. I suspect much of the non-US-controlled Middle East would also go for gold - another reason for war in a different location this time.
Even the NS2 problem is being blamed on Russia when it is ENTIRELY the US (demanding the EU drop their need for Russian gas) and the EU themselves (refusing to sign a contract). This isn't Russia holding Europe to ransom over gas - it is, as usual, political manoeuvring by vested interests.
Either way, the US is led by a degenerate who can't string two thoughts together - yet who got more votes than Obama.........
So many threads, so much entanglement......
