Morning I bought some vinyl tiles from trade deals which are approx 480mm x 480mm x 8mm
The have gone down well - no adhesive needed. I have now got to the back and one side of the garage and need to cut them to size. Using a stanley knife isnt practical to cut a large number. Can anyone suggest a tool that would help or anything else. I thought about a grinder but think the speed may melt the vinyl? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

A table saw would be handy or a handheld circular saw with a batten as a guide. The blade would cut faster than the vinyl melting if you move fairly quickly. Jigsaws are shite and only a last resort. A panel saw would do it at a pinch.

You should find that if you score the top surface with the S knife, possibly several times (you'll have to practice) that the tiles will snap cleanly. No need to cut all the way through.
Do you know how to do the cut tiles using a whole tile off the wall to give an exact fit?

Will that work with an 8mm tile? They can have a mesh binder in the middle?
