they seem to be on offer and in stock, available for next day delivery

UK planet tools have them for £125, so i suspect theres some sort of deal being done, a few different sites have them at around the £125 mark on google - not check to see if in stock

Not sure, but didnt dewalt add bluetooth to a lot of the batteries and now they have the small flat cases (powerstack)- maybe getting rid of the older stock

XJ & XE models, on the dewalt site, no difference ion specification , no idea what the difference in code actually means , if anything

I'm sure it will be fine, good buy

yes it could be old stock but the new ones are so expensive i thought people will jump at perhaps £150
the good thing its about the same price as a 4 amp and a 5 amp 18v but you get the advantage off the extra power 18v tools can now draw from a flexvolt over a strait 18v battery because off the cell grouping
any way mines comes tomorrow lol

assuming you mean the present batteries
both charge 18/54 i think it charges as an18v
dcb115
https://ffx.co.uk/product/Get/Dewalt-Dc ... ry-Charger
and dcb 118
https://ffx.co.uk/product/Get/Dewalt-Dc ... st-Charger

you wont get any extra power on present 18v like the 996 drill 830w out
https://ffx.co.uk/product/Get/Dewalt-Dc ... e-Unit#FPD
but you will wth the 999 a wapping 1215w but only from the flexivolt battery

ok update
battery arrived today slighly bigger than expected about 10% extra all round than a 6ah i had wrongly just assumed the same size
the smaller charger dcb 115 will charge but only to around the 6ah 2 lights on the battery i charged a 6ah fully on the 115 and it only took 3 mins on the fast charge to turn off so thats why i assume the 6ah level
