There's a reason I'm sceptical about online reviews.
I bought the Scheppach dust extractor from Aldi online on 30th April. After ordering I received notification from Yodel I would receive the item on or before 10th May. I must admit my heart sank when I learned Yodel were the delivery company. The 10th came and no sign of the item. I contacted Aldi who told me to give it 48hrs. On the 12th there was still no sign of the package. To cut a long story short after repeated emails and calls to Aldi I finally received the item on the 28th May!!! 18 days overdue!!!
I received an email from Aldi asking me to leave a review. As you can imagine it was less than favourable. I didn't swear or use offensive language but ten minutes afterwards I received an email from Aldi stating:
Your Aldi review has been moderated

They're clearly editing poor reviews. I know they're not the only ones doing it but just take heed. I still hear people telling me "it got good online reviews"

i dont take to much notice of reviews, i do read them , but i mainly look at the poor reviews and look for similar comments mentioned
Amazon, take a lot of my poor reviews , when posted , as do trustpilot
Is it possible , rather than censoring your review , something in it may have caused a flag ???

Yes, quite obvoiusly.
You're supposed to be reviewing the product, but you are criticising the shipping method & service, that's quite different.
Similarly - conversely - ebay feedback is for rating the seller, not the actual product purchased.

If I have a complaint about delivery ( and there have been a few ) I review the product THEN slate the delivery, that way it gets published and I’m satisfied that I’ve had a damn good grumble.

Surely though delivery is all part of the purchasing process and shouldn't be removed?

A lot of companies will only accept product reviews. I find the best way to review a delivery company is on Google, they have never failed to publish a negative review from me. That said I not sure if it does any good but I feel better for having done it.
