Laptop Screen Replacment (Not-Touch)

Hi guys,

what would you expect to pay to replace a screen on a laptop? (for fitting)

I know the screens themselves are £50-£60.

Too many variables to answer, read on for explanation.

We do not know where you live, so do not know how much they charge for labour where you live, we do not know the size of the screen (May take longer for bigger screens) we do not know make model of said computer (Some may be easier than others)
That aside, suppose one person (Any forum, not just this one) said "It will be £75 tops" and another person said "The last one I had done cost me £275" You don't know who had exactly what done, you don't know where they are in the country, you don't know when that was done, you don't know if they are true, and it is of no use to you what so ever.

The best thing to do is take it to a couple of computer repair shops near you and ask them, that way you get the answer you seek

Depends on the make and model.

Tbh they're not difficult to replace yourself if you're methodical. Might take an hour or two, be careful of the ribbon cables - don't yank on any and make sure you seat them in the bales properly. Other than that, easy job

Something is "an easy job" if you know what you are doing and or have a guide to follow, I suspect that the job has been done now as he only asked 3 months ago
