Has anybody used Cazoo?

Specifically, it says in their listings on AutoTrader "Can I test drive?" and the response is "We do better than that, you can have the car for seven days & return it if not for you".

Anybody tried this?

dont know the first thing about it but look at txcs
what does it cost to hand it back maybe delivery charge x2
maybe a restocking fee
maybe no charge
but suspect £250-500 or 5-10% off car cost is a possible amount but purely a guess

Never dealt with them, but rather than guess you can always look them up yourself and find out.

TV ad says if you are not happy you can return it within 7 days (They will collect for free) for a full refund. Small print says..................so long as you have not smashed it up (sounds fair to me) or driven more than 250 miles in it. (You sign for car/its mileage) when they drop it off to you.

All the cars from these traders are end of lease cars in the main. As there mainly three to four year old cars they will normally have been regularly serviced and cared for as the return charges for dings and marks are high. With that in mind the cars are a reasonable risk but most cars will be out of warranty. The cars to consider are the long warranty makes like Hyundai (5yrs) and Kia (7yrs) and some others. Car Giant used to get the daily rental cars that used to be sold on after 10 months but I doubt that happens now due to supply issues of new cars. As for returning a car, I doubt it is as simple as that, I could be wrong. I think the most important thing is to research the car types you are interested in and do not deviate from that. After 40 years of Ford's my latest car is a Hyundai Tuscon Ultimate mild hybrid. I am very pleased with it as is Mrs D who has just got her sixth Hyundai I-10. We have done a rolling PCP and the ironic thing is that we are paying very nearly the same monthly as we were 15 years ago. I would investigate leasing and PCP deals on new cars as part of your research.
