I have a smart meter installed some time ago.
The energy supplier seems to have lost connection to it and does not seem to be bothered by it
They say I have to submit readings from the meter which is fine by me.
For Electric I am on a Economy 7 tariff hence I have to submit a day and night reading , but I cannot find such readings
They say you can press a button combination on the meter to get the reading for day and night
Is their such a thing on this meter ? I do not think there is !
A pic of the meter is attached

Can't help I'm afraid but the more I read about smart meters the less I am inclined to get one.

newdud, Sorry that the previous 2 replies were less than helpful
I don't have a definitive answer for you either, However your meter clearly shows (top line Rate 02 act (ual) imp (ort) or actual import bottom row 00433 Kwh, I would assume that this is the overnight rate ? (could be wrong, could be day rate)
Either way press button A once, the display will change. It might give you total import or summat completely different. It should give you "Rate 01" after some pushes... iF you get total import then deduct one Kwh figure from the other to get your night / day rate.
otherwise keep pressing button A to get back to Rate 02, then hit button B (as many times as it takes. seriously hope that is some help.

It is your electricity supplier's obligation to give you full instructions of how to read your 'marooned' smart meter. Go back to them and remind them of that, stating the make (Landis & Gyr) and model number (E470, type 5424).
If they remain unhelpful, have a look at:

Hope that helps,
