I watched a Youtube video that had a very interesting use for super glue. The guy was causing a chemical reaction using super glue and baking soda that forms a tough plastic when mixed. In its simplest use, he used it to pack out a worn screw hole in wood that when it had hardened he drilled a pilot and screwed in. He got more adventurous as he went on and repaired a broken plastic gear wheel forming a new section that he chemically formed on the broken section. It looked bloody good for knackered screw holes so I will try that when I next have that problem.

Yes, I thought that, the times I have struggled getting damaged screwheads out. I must remember to stock up on Superglue in Poundland.

Superglue has many uses in diy, including closing cuts and wounds, put it on cotton wool, and it should start to smoulder/burn

don't spill it on your jeans. Superglue reacts with the cellulose in the material and can combust. If you are wearing them, It can cause severe burns
