Slow set adhesive for large wall tiles

I have got some 30cm x 90cm tiles i want to DIY on the new shower enclosure.
Although I have done tiling a few times before with good results in the past ,since its my first time with large tiles i want to be a little less stressed in terms of adhesive pot life if i can :)

Is there such slow setting adhesive that can be used on these tiles ? All i could find is fast and standard setting stuff .

Tiles are around 8mm rectified and ceramic . They weigh around 5.5kg each which is not so heavy i dont think for the size.
The base is made of STS 10mm foam board which does not require any priming etc

Sadly we dont have tile mountain showroom nearby and i am not paying £26 for pallette delivery lol
