Could anyone tell me the best way to remove a glass splashback above a kitchen worktop? It’s fixed to the wall with what look like double-sided sticky pads.
While I think I’ll be able to cut most of them with a keyhole saw, there are some further down that may be out of reach.
I know splashbacks are made of toughened glass so I wondered if it was be better/easier to just smash it and sweep up the bits (while wearing goggles and gloves, of course)?

Best way to remove glass splashback in kitchen

I would try a hot air gun or hair dryer to heat up the glass gently by the pads, this might melt the glue sufficiently to allow easy removal. If you overheat and the glass shatters move to phase two and get a dustpan and brush.
