Hi I have a pretty old 350 RSF on NG which fails to ignite. Have troubleshooted and I seem to think that the ignition sequence board is at fault. Both pumps are working, demand light is on and the fan is kicking in when I select CH or HW however no ignition sequence. There is no voltage going to the modureg from x16 on the sequence board. I am at the point where I am going to purchase a new PCB. Any suggestions as to what else could be wrong or If I might have misdiagnosed??
Thanks in anticipation

Hi Neelix. I understand your concern . I am a qualified mechanical engineer and have also worked on many aspects of electrical fault finding for 40 odd years. Being qualified in Mech Eng doesent make me gas safe by any means, but I do have the common sense to realise that any component/pipework relating to the gas supply is out of bounds for me. I have previousley changed PCB's, thermistors and relief valves on this boiler which only relate to CH/HW aspects. I appreciate your concern as we all know that 'a little knowledge is dangerous' . I shall be contacting a gas safe heating engieeer if it comes down to a gas valve or something relating to gas

I am no expert but I had a look at 350RSF manual but s*d me if I know if it is a combi or not, as you state 2 pumps and that threw me! The fact that the fan is kicking in says something but no voltage to x16 must mean something to those that know the model, bit more info please.

Hi Aeromech thanks for the reply. Yes two pumps, they did a good boiler in the 90's. Thinking of getting a new sequence board as it all points to that. Maybe I will get some more information off a forum member...let's wait and see
