Just wondering do any of you have an "action camera" if so which one and how do you get on with it, or did you buy a cheapo one and wish you hadn't.
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

What do you mean by "action camera"? I have a bridge camera for better quality shots and video but tend to use my Samsung A52S for most things because I always have it with me and it takes really good photos/video. Using Google photos is handy too as it tells me all I need to know about the file and saves it to the Cloud so no worries about hard drive failure. I bought the bridge camera, a Panasonic, on eBay. Lots of good second hand stuff available. From memory I paid £40.00 for a camera that cost £250.00 new.

I took this photo with my phone. The file size is 2.8MB and you can zoom in quite a bit before it gets fuzzy. Really excellent cameras on new smart phones. My apoligies if you know all this already.

whats your budget , are you talking about action as in sports action - Tennis, F1, diving etc or animals or ????
I have had quite a few cameras over the years and also advised / trained people on photography -
A bridge camera is a good compromise these days -
Sony used to be rated a few years ago -
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-HX400V
is quite an old model - but stands up to a lot of comparison - but not sure if still available - niece got one last year . last in shop
THE RX10 is a flagship model - expensive but highly rated
All depends on Budget and what you specifically need
