WHY an Air Fryer? NOT which AF?
Love our AF. A lot of the things we would cook in the oven are done in the AF before the oven would even finish it's pre-heat. Great for anything you want crispy basically. We had chicken kievs at the weekend, came out much better than they ever would in the oven, jacket potato on the side, cook it in the microwave first, then crisp it up in the AF, almost as good as a proper oven roasted one.

There were some who advocated the retention of incandescent light bulbs as the 90+% of the energy produced was emitted
as heat rather than light and hence warmed up cold rooms.
Given the astonishing rise in the cost of electricity, maybe the argument for the supposed benefits of heat as a byproduct
from items designed for a specific purpose, but functioning inefficiently, will now fall?
But that is also true of an AF?
So does that not defeat your own "argument"?

Many thanks
I would broadly agree WO but I have the 15 in 1 Ninja which is also a slow cooker, pressure cooker etc.
It's awesome. You can cook a whole chicken from chilled in about 45 minutes - it also has an insertion probe that you can leave in during cooking so it stops at the required internal temp
