Heatmiser sanity check

Post by Super_paulie »

Anyone available for a sanity check?

I want to connect my boiler and forthcoming UFH to a Heatmiser 8.
The new open plan area is 5 zones but all need to work as one. It is 5 zones due to the pipe run required (90sqm) but all need to come on and heat the same. Also we have radiators elsewhere in the house that are to be controlled by a Nest/heat link.

"For now" i dont need powered actuators. I need the UFH 2 port valve to just open and flow to all 5 connected zones. In future expansion i would add actuators and new stats etc to new zones.

So my question is, in the shown setup, would the UFH stat (Slimline) connected to zone 1 trigger the UFH valve and all connected zones would open as there are no electric actuators/all manual actuators left open? Or would i be better to get an electrical actuator and daisy chain that to all 5 zones?
