Hi everyone. I'm relatively new to painting and have been watching videos on youtube to find tips on technique and equipment. When I see them using a roller they get about three passes/roller widths of paint from one loap up, but I'm finding that I only get one pass/roller width of coversge before I start having to push too hard and I can hear and see the roller drying out. I'm painting Leyland water-based emulsion onto old emulsion, and using a Hamilton Perfection microfibre roller sleeve.
The paint I'm using seems quite viscous and dries very quickly, I think it may be quite old and having been sitting around for a few years. I stirred it very well before use.
Thanks in advance for any info or advice
