Wallpapering

Post by eisfspike »

Hi all

I am doing some wallpapering in my kids room. I don't have a wallpapering table so have seen some videos around putting the wallpaper paste onto the wall first and then applying the paper. Can I use a standard paint roller to apply the paste to the wall or does it need to be a gloss roller etc.

Many thanks

Get one of these, handy to have https://www.screwfix.com/p/economy-hard ... 40mm/75122 If you have flush doors you can take one off and use it resting on chair backs. it is best to have a pasted wall and pasted paper to allow sliding into position.

It would be interesting to know how far the move away from wallpapering has gone in favour of painting plaster.
Perhaps anew Thread?

Ooopps. I see that the trend has already been addressed.
