Hi iv just got a job fitting kitchens in a high rise (223 in total)
They are a straight run ..EP F/F housing, EP, 400 drawer pack, 450 dishwasher, 500 sink base, 300 base, end panel (EP)
1 x 500 wall, 600 frontal,(cover mvhr) 1 x 900 wall
12.5 mm worktop hob cutout, inset sink ( no drainer grooves)
Splash back & upstand.

Straight run, dry fit, no handles, no back panel on sink base.

£450 per kitchen I’m guessing this is a fair price as I can comfortably do 1 a day

Is this price fair in your opinion ??

Over what period do you have to fit them? And I assume that’s supply all other bits and pieces too

Bit late to ask if you've already got the job? On your own at one a day that will take a year!

Better to have two skilled mates with you, one to fit carcases in place, one to follow doing worktops & cutouts, one to follow finishing off.

VAT threshold is £85k, also CIS, income tax, NI..........

OP check out CIS with the developer, they might say £450 but deduct 30% on payment.......

I think thats good money if you can do in a day. 2250 a week with no outlay or risk.

sounds a bit like the facebook joiners group where the lads claim to charge £80 a door and the same lads fit 10 doors a day and have them all hinged up before morning bait.

when i price up kitchens i put in £100 to fit a dishwasher. they take time. theyre a chew on.

i put in £240 to fit a tower. theyre a f*ck on. it says f/f housing. i assume a fridge freezer to go on there. they are a chew on.

12.5mm worktop? sounds like compact laminate to me. its a chew on.

zero chance doing that in a day unless a days graft is 36 hours long at least

when i price kitchens up i find most are at the £1800 to £3500 mark

i get them more often than not.

i dont get them done in a day or a week unfortunately.

good luck to the fella if hes knocking them out that quick. but guaranteed theyll be rough as toast for that much graft in a single day.

to be fair id think £800-£1000 and get it done over maybe 3 days.

Everything supplied and in the room ready, I’m vat registered and cis gross status.
Tops are a composite no compact laminate and 3 appliances
2 of us fitting 8 month contract.

Tbf on site the fitters are fitting big house kitchens in a day or 2. Some of the work can be rough but passes muster for the builders. I got talking to a few of them one lad was quite good and he tried to travel as light as possible with kit. No track saw just circ and his level like the old days. No laser just bubble. Tbf his kitchens weren't bad when finished either.

At that price if there's 2 of you it depends what you're paying the other guy. If its a 50 50 split then I'd say its average money. If your giving him more of a labourers wage then there's a bit more meat on the bone for you.

That’s per kitchen so it’s £450 each there’s no split.

ahhh reeet thats different then isnt it. be a lot of graft on ya tod. provided you dont have to take gear home with you then deffo easy. say if you can move to the next one last thing leave your gear locked up and return next day its all good
