laptop touch screen convert to non

i have a bust touch screen 15.6 laptop, can i put in a non touch screen, as i have a few 15.6 lcd's lying about.

I doubt it as the physical dimensions must be exactly the same. You could try it and see, or to save wasting a laptop, can you not plug in the new screen via a vga port?

yea bust screen is 15.6, my spares are 15.6, and are all 30 pin connection, i was thinking about the i/o board on motherboard configured only for touch screen, but i could be wrong.
