What do you call the tool that puts these on. I need to securely attach a hose to my water pump connector for my caravan. I've tried plastic ties but don't think they're up too much.

Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.

No, they're jubilee clips. I want the tool that puts the bands on.

Those types are hose crimp clips see as an example https://www.socal.co.uk/p/HCC8/off-the- ... -clip-80mm You use a type of pincer to pinch them up. I would have thought a Jubilee Clip would be cheaper than buying the tool.

I've used what I always believed to be 'nail puller' pliers - look exactly like the stuff S-E linked to.

:withstupid:

Nail pliers (tower pincers ??) do the job, I have done the crimps on my airlines and had 120 psi in the lines no issues

Google single or double ear hose clamps adjustable

eg.

At Machine Mart. We get asked for 'ear clips' at least one a week. we don't sell them. As has been said before, a pair of nail puller type pliers will do the job.
