What kind of roof tiles are these?
Am I correct in thinking they are fibre cement slate roof tiles and not the old smooth slate lookalikes that were made with asbestos?

I recently removed the matching hip-tile from a roof with these tiles and noticed it had an asbestos sticker on the back
The new replacement tile (made in 2023) didn't have the sticker despite being from the same range.
So I guess the answer is that they used to have it in them but no longer do - despite being the same product.
I think the one I removed was around 30 years old so if the roof was done more recently, like within last 20 years, they won''t have asbestos in them

I suspect that as zdravkoc asked the question last year, he has found what he wants to know, he also only stayed for 6 days, never to be heard from again, best not to reply to old posts
Above are my opinions Below is my signature.
Would you hit a nail with a shoe because you don't have a hammer? of course not, then why work on anything electrical without a means of testing Click Here to buy a "tester" just because it works, does NOT mean it is safe.
If gloom had a voice, it would be me.

Inept people use the QUOTE BUTTON instead of the QUICK REPLY section

Ashame adravkoc didn't update the post if they did find out.Someone-Else wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2024 10:17 pm I suspect that as zdravkoc asked the question last year, he has found what he wants to know, he also only stayed for 6 days, never to be heard from again, best not to reply to old posts
could be useful for others searching for an answer / possible answer to the same question. ffoxy99 adding their knowledge and findings may fill that gap now, even though it's a year later.

My pics have also been viewed over 1000 times so obviously the thread is of some interest/use to some people regardless of when the original poster created the thread or last used the site
